Dr. Bulusu Sreenivas obtained his B.Sc from the Andhra University and M.Sc degree from the Acharya Nagarjuna University. He joined NGRI as a CSIR JRF for his Ph.D. and received degree from the Osmania University. He did two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Tokyo, Japan awarded by Japan Society for Promotion of Science. Dr. Sreenivas is currently working as a Senior Scientist at the LAM-MC-ICPMS National Facility at NGRI. Dr. Sreenivas’ research areas include stable isotope geochemistry, non-traditional stable isotopes (Fe isotopes), Precambrian redox evolution, Precambrian sedimentation and tectonics. He worked on Precambrian paleosols for understanding the implications of their chemical compositions on redox conditions. His work on carbon isotope excursions from the Paleoproterozoic Aravalli Supergroup is well received among the international scientific community. Dr. Sreenivas participated in many Goldschmidt Conferences and has been an annual member of the Geochemical Society. He was recipient of Young Scientist Award by the Indian Science Congress and has been elected as Associate Fellow of Andhra Pradesh Akademi of Sciences. Recently CSIR awarded him with the Raman Research Fellowship.
