Doctoral Fellows

Post graduates in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences and allied degrees, who have acquired a Fellowship under CSIR/UGC-NET, DST-INSPIRE, DST-WOS or any other recognized agency are welcome to join CSIR-NGRI throughout the year. SAC (sac[at]ngri[dot]res[dot]in) will assist them to look for the appropriate supervisor to pursue a doctoral program, either from AcSIR or a University of choice.

The Fellowship holder, guided by his/her proposed Supervisor and willing to register in a University of choice will be required to make a presentation highlighting his/her completed work during Masters’ Dissertation and a brief outline of area of work for doctoral degree. Upon successful evaluation, the candidate will be issued the NOC Letter from CSIR-NGRI, which he/she may use for registration for the chosen doctoral program. Those who will be joining AcSIR (http://ngri.org.in/cms/admission.php)  have to go through the Interview as and when advertised.
