A comprehensive analysis to high-resolution aeromagnetic data was carried out to characterise the Breccia zone at Machanur, Dharwar Craton and identify structural features associated with Copper mineralisation. Spectral, 2D, and 3D modelling indicate that the breccia zone extends to an average depth of about 400 m and is structurally controlled. Integration of aeromagnetic results with previous geological, petrological, and borehole data suggests that the mineralisation continues beyond 350m depth. The mineralised zones are characterised by sulphide veins containing chalcopyrite, pyrite, covellite, chalcocite, cuprite, bornite, and are associated with hydrothermal activity.
