Dr. R Vijayaraghavan has completed B.E (Electronics and Communication Engg.) from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1988. Presently he is working as Senior Scientist at the CSIR- National Geophysical Research Institute, Hyderabad. Associated with the Earthquake Hazard Assessment group, he has installed more than hundred seismic stations in the country. Recently, he has installed more than fifty earthquake labs in schools of earthquake prone Koyna-Warna region and Nanded city of Maharshtra. He has 8 publications in national and international journals. His current fields of interest are Seismic Instrumentation, Seismic Networks and Digital Signal Processing. April 2012
