Principal Scientist , Controlled Source Seismics and Gas Hydrates
Dr. Ranjana Ghosh received her B.Sc. (1998) in Physics (hons.) from the University of Burdwan, India; M.Sc. Tech. (2003) in Applied Geophysics from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India; and a Ph.D. (2009) in Geophysics from the Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. She pursued post-doctoral research at the Institute for Geophysics, University of Texas at Austin, USA under the supervision of Prof. Mrinal K Sen. Presently, she is a senior scientist in the CSIR-NGRI, Hyderabad, and a faculty at the newly constituted Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR). Her main research interests include rock physics modeling, processing and inversion of MCS data.
